GEtting ready to order some Weld 15-3.5 and 15-8 Pro Stars for my car. Been told the Pro Stars have more clearance than others so maybe only have to knock some off the tie rod and not touch the calipers. Going with 15-8 4.5 BS and up front just run a 1 inch spacer. I would like to see some cars! Post them up!

Bogarts are nice but I personaly know 4 people who have had their front wheels break. Im one of them, my welded R/T split wide open and ruined a brake caliper. Ive never heard of a weld wheel failing. :beerchug:

Trey-
Here is my setup. best of 1.50 60' and I know 1.45 are in it.

This should give you a good idea of what you need to do. Only way to fly IMO.

Damn Wilson that car looks right!!!!!! So those are Pro Star Rears with Alumastar fronts??? Also I can see where you knocked the edges off the caliper but did you do much to the tierod area. Just got off the phone with Jegs and Summit and the Pro Stars are on BackOrder!!!!!!!

You may have a problem getting weld wheels right now, they are going through bankruptsy.

Those Alumastars look interesting and nice that they bolt right on.

What do they weigh? Cost?

Am i the only one that thinks it looks a little wierd with such a large diameter front wheel and smaller rear.

I guess i just like the look of same size front/back or even smaller up front.

Don't see many people with CCW's drag package..........with Dave King's news about Bogart.......seems like CCW for the price is the only other out there that looks good and is safe for the street........only it's a 16" set-up.

I ordered my alumastar 17" fronts from summit & they took about 4 months to come in. Price is about 570.00 each & summit said weld makes them to order. I'd like to order a set of 17" rears with drag radials for street duty but my budget needs to recoup after buying those fronts!

Daves car has the perfect stance. I am gonna stay with the Pro Stars if I can get them . They look killer on silver.

Mine- the Mickey Thompsons. Ive driven em to work and back and to the track quite a few times, so they seem to work on the street.
