Something looks wrong with those stock numbers. They look really low. Also looks the the car is automatic according to the RPM's in the stock dyno. Then I guess with the chip the REV limiter was raised to 6200 RPM. Finally the last dyno shows the car reving to 6800 RPM's which is where 5-speeds rev too. Hmm.....
H-TownMachI...

Let me clear a few things up for you...since you guys are talking about my car :D

My car is an automatic and the stock rev limiter kicks in at 5780. After the gear, K&N, and exhaust I had to put a chip in the car to correct the speedo...so we tuned the car and raised the rev limiter to 6200rpm when it was NA. Once the blower was put on the car I raised the rev limiter to 7000rpm and set the shift points at WOT to 6300rpm for the street...and 6500rpm for the track. On my 11.63 pass I went through the traps at 6700rpm and saw almost 11lbs of boost. I make 10psi at 6500 and just over 9psi at 6300rpm.

One more thing...I dynoed the car on a DynoJet and Mustang Dyno the same day. I believe there was a 26hp difference between the two dynos.

Here is a link to the 11.63 video.

Check this months 5.0 mustang and super fords there is an articale on an 03 mach with a turbo kit running 5 lbs boost and making over 440 rwhp with no other mods besides exhaust. I dynod my 03 DSG mach on 10-19-03 with about 8k miles and no mods but a K&N and got 282rwhp and 307lbft on an 85 degree south texas day. There is also a S/C kit from vortech that they say will take it from 305 to around 450 at the flywheel havent seen an install articale that was just there advertrisment in the same mag as above

How much would it cost you think to put forged internals? I am looking into getting one, but can't figure on the 03 or 04 models.
I never went past the rev limiter on my 03 when I had it. I had the chip burn leave the rev limiter the way it was stock to be on the safe side. So I will do the same with the mach when i get one. Any other info would be really appreciated. :D

Since the cobra has been gone I have missed having a mustang, so I was looking into purchasing a Mach I, and I wanted to mod the heck out of it, but after reading some postings on the terminator area, the posts are stating that using a procharger or any other super charger on the Machs would not be safe because of the weak internals? Is this true guys? Or what do you think?
Keep it around 450, with a good tune and it should survive. Also, do not turn it 7,000. The rods in the Mach 1s are weak, and will fold up if it makes close to 500 RWHP
