And why do they do it? RELIGION...get my point yet? I don't care what the religion is, it doesn't matter. Why is it the right to lifers feel it is ok to kill the doctors at a planned parenhood clinic? You don't see the abortion rights folks trying to force anyone to have an abortion yet the conservative christian right is trying desperately to force their view on the rest of us. I haven't said a single thing trying to push my believes on any of you yet if you read back through this thread I have had religion pushed on me. I will still not bow down to someone elses beliefs. If you need it to get you through the day that's your business, but I don't. And by the way I have a few friends who are pasters, reverends, and preachers. We can agree to disagree and still be friends.

I believe it is wrong to be as pushy about as most of the door bangers are, or those who follow you down the street, through the airport, pick your scenario.

Now, I agree with you about waging war with people who don't agree with your way of thought. Though, I think war is sometimes necessary when atrocities are committed against humanity.

We are not talking about war of atrocities. The worst atrocities though have been perpetrated by religious zealots out to make the world over in there own ideal.

I see nothing wrong with sending out missionaries as well. There is nothing wrong with trying to make the world a better place.

As long as it fits into your idea of what a better place is and how they should be in it.

I could use the reverse, where politicians pass laws that say, abortion is legal, that welfare should be given to people. Free healthcare should be given. You have the write to vote. They are pushing this all on you. How dare they!!!

Well abortion is legal but it is not mandatory. It is an individuals right to deal with that decision as they see fit under the circumstances, and Bush is trying to take that away. Damn right healthcare should be free and equally provided for everyone. Why should you live and someone else die because of money. The "write" to vote...you have to be kidding me. The man who lost the election is in the White House running the country into the ground

You seem to have a hatred for any who do not share your view of the world. And if they do not agree with you, then they are evil.. While, you are entitled to your view, it seems you want this world to be one way...your way...Any other view is simply wrong.

I have expressed my point of view. Religion and Politics are very emotional issues for many of us. I have not stated anywhere that I hated you or anyone else, nor have I called you evil. I stated my opinion that Religion is one of the major problems the world has to deal with and there will never be peace as long as there is religion. I stand by that statement. I am not trying to force you to change your believes, just expressing mine. Religion is a crutch for the weak and I don't need it. If you do that's your decision and you have a right to it "for yourself".

I don't go door to door handing out pamphlets trying to convert people to my way of thought. I don't send out missionaries to third world countries to convert the "heathens" to my way of thought. I don't wage war on those who don't agree with my way of thought. These behaviors are those of the religious and why they a a pox on the face of the earth. I will bow down to no one and I accept responsibility for my own actions.

All of you holy roller bible thumpers crack me up. The single most deterrent to world peace is organized religion. It is for all the sheep that need to be led around because they can't stand on there own 2 feet. Man will never be free as long as Religion continues. It allows the sheep to spew hate and intolerance while beating their chests in righteous indignation.

I personally have no problem with the govt listening into phone calls against known terrorist groups on international calls.

That's not the extent of it. He is wire tapping whoever he wants without oversight. It is against the law. I don't care if you want to sit there and give up your rights like the idiot Germans did for Hitler. It is not alright with me to give up mine. Wake up before it's too late. We no longer live in a free democracy here. We are continually losing our position as one of the best countries in the world in any category you can think of. Dollars rule and any means to go after them are alright. Your children are going to live to see the US implode just as the Soviet Union did. It's coming and you all need to open your eyes.

I say we all surround him in tghe White House with our Mustangs and smoke him out! This is the most corrupt administration in History. We can't rebuild New Orleans but we have 500 Billion to waste on Iraq. We let our Interstate Highways collapse. And Bush can't be lying to us cuz he "prays to the Creator". Um...yeah...ok!
