What do you think about the Pro Chamber? I have BBK LTs , an old rigged up Mac OR H-pipe and Flowmasters right now. I have had several different set ups in the past and i have a few leaks. So now i want to get something new. i like the way it sounds right now but i want something louder.

The prochamber imo will make your exhaust a bit quieter. It has a deeper tone to it. I mean it will still be loud, but not as loud as a x pipe. The car should sound nice with the flowmaster's. Iv heard car's with american racing headers, mac prochamber, and mac catback and they are so sexy sounding. loud and aggressive.

I forgot which hpipe I had, but joe at mustang magic told me to do the prochamber, and I gained 13rwtq with just the swap, no tuning. before and after same day dyno.

I had borla stingers, off road chamber, and stock manifolds, and the car was retarted loud. If I did long tube's, forget it. Now I have mac long tube's, prochamber, and magnaflow catback. Nice and quiet cruising around, no drone, aggressive when you nail it, but it doesnt draw attention to cop's when driving around town.

Broke ran full mac exhaust front to rear for a few years with no issues, don't know personally of anybody else. As far as the raspy sound you're talking about... doesn't that have more to do with the cats than H vs X? Had a buddy up here that ran damn near the same exhaust (both bassani) as my last car (09 GT) on his 2010 GT, only difference was that I ran high flow cats, mine was alot raspier than his, which I perfer but to each his own.

i wish they still made a catted prochamber for long tubes. I thought about having cats welded in but I'd rather not throw cats on there without the exact correct placement. It could end up sounding like poo if it's not right.

So i ended up with the Mac Pro Chamber and the Borla Stingers Catback.Awesome. It sounds great! It feels so much smoother now. It has a nice rumble at idle but sounds mean as hell when floored. The only thing was the Pro Chamber had to be cut and a piece welded in for it to fit but all good now. Thanks for the help.
